It's a chance to do something meaningful, a chance to serve others and a chance to make a life-changing impact on students with the gospel.About the JobWe are looking for a gospel-centered and detail-oriented Assistant Program Director to help lead our team in the Northern Wells Community Schools, in partnership with the local Program Director and Leadership Board. Our ideal candidate is a spiritually mature active church member who is adept at assisting in a broad range of administrative tasks. The Assistant Program Director will serve in a part-time 10-15 hours per week capacity (with higher weekly averages possible in the months leading up to launch), under the Program Director.Job Responsibilities - Assist the Program Director in managing the LifeWise 5 L's1. LeadershipSchedule and conduct regular Leadership Board meetingsRecruit and hire staff membersRecruit volunteers to help in the classroomTrain, schedule and manage a team of teachers, drivers and volunteersEnsure all team members complete background screenings and renew as needed2. LocationProvide a learning environment that is engaging and visually excellent in keeping with the LifeWise style guideEnsure that emergency policies and procedures are clearly defined and postedMaintain classroom safety, security and technologyManage a plan for housing, maintaining and refueling vehicles3. LogisticsCreate and maintain a schedule of LifeWise classes in coordination with schoolsDistribute student permission slips to schools and parentsManage student data, including contact information, photo release, health concerns and parent permissionFoster and maintain an ongoing positive relationship with the school4. LootPrepare and maintain an annual budgetLead fundraising efforts by managing a Kickoff CampaignConduct regular LifeWise 101 events, church presentations and an annual banquet eventManage, record and deposit donations and send thank-you notesOversee use of funds by paying bills and making purchases such as classroom suppliesReview regular financial reports with the Leadership Board5. LanguageMaintain an active prayer teamSeek opportunities to represent LifeWise at community eventsSend regular updates to donors, volunteers and parents via newsletters and social mediaWork with the Support Center to ensure the program webpage is up to date6. Systems and SupportUse Google apps such as Gmail, Drive, Meet, Calendar, Sheets and DocsLog donations and manage records online in SalesforceMake program purchases using an expense card and mobile app for expense reportsUse a variety of websites for creating online forms, logging hours worked and managing team member background screenings and employee recordsParticipate in monthly Director's calls and Health Coach calls for ongoing trainingAttend the LifeWise Summit and at least one Program Director Bootcamp yearlyQualifications and ExperienceA mature personal Christian faith consistent with the LifeWise Academy Statement of FaithActive membership in a church in which teaching aligns with the LifeWise Academy Statement of FaithLeadership experience in either a professional or volunteer capacityExperience with spreadsheets, virtual meeting platforms, and Google SuiteBenefitsRetirement plan, including employer matchEvery member is asked to complete a background check once every 3 years.
