Light Industrial - Assembler (Solder Specialist) - Oldsmar, FL

[Responsibilities]

• Execute advanced soldering and rework on complex circuit card assemblies
• Perform BGA reballing, QFN and leadless package repair, SMT and through-hole component replacement
• Use microscopes for precise placement and inspection of fine-pitch components
• Troubleshoot and resolve assembly defects, collaborating with engineering teams
• Develop and implement new rework procedures for evolving product lines
• Complete mechanical assembly, including hardware installation and component alignment
• Maintain workspace organization, upholding strict safety and quality standards

[Required Skills and Experience]

• 5+ years in advanced soldering and electronics rework
• Strong expertise in circuit card assembly, SMT, and through-hole techniques
• Skilled with soldering irons, reflow ovens, microscopes, X-ray, AOI, and AXI systems
• IPC certification in soldering/rework (e.g., IPC-A-610, IPC-7711/7721)
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Proven ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced production settings

[Preferred Skills]

• Experience developing rework procedures for new products
• Familiarity with adhesives and bonding agents for mechanical assembly
• Prior work with high-density and fine-pitch components
