[About the Role]

Join our team as a 1st-Shift Facility Maintenance Technician in Andover, MA. In this full-time position, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the safety and functionality of our plant and office facilities. You'll handle a variety of hands-on maintenance tasks, supporting both the main Andover site and additional buildings as needed. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to leverage their general maintenance experience in a stable, growth-oriented environment-with the potential for long-term or full-time engagement based on strong performance during the initial eight-month assignment.

[Responsibilities]

• Perform general facility upkeep and basic repairs across electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
• Respond promptly to routine maintenance issues and basic equipment troubleshooting
• Complete janitorial support tasks such as trash removal and floor cleaning when required
• Follow detailed work orders and general instructions to ensure facility standards
• Conduct regular inspections, logging all completed work and observations
• Collaborate with facility staff to support a safe, clean, and efficient work environment

[Required Skills and Experience]

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 2 years of hands-on maintenance and facilities experience
• Demonstrated proficiency with hand and power tools
• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
• Ability to work independently, efficiently, and with attention to detail
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
• Capable of obtaining interim and full security clearance (required to start)
• Availability to work Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM

[Preferred Skills]

• Trade certification
• 1-2 years additional plant or office maintenance experience
