The Line Cook I is responsible for preparing and cooking food items according to hotel recipes and standards, ensuring quality, consistency, and presentation. This role works closely with the kitchen team to support efficient kitchen operations, maintain cleanliness, and contribute to delivering an exceptional guest dining experience.

Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook food items for assigned meal periods while following standardized recipes and quality standards.
• Complete daily food preparation for kitchen stations, ensuring consistency, freshness, and timely service.
• Set up and stock workstations with ingredients, tools, and supplies needed for service.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of kitchen areas, equipment, and food storage.
• Follow food safety guidelines, including proper labeling, dating, temperature monitoring, and safe handling procedures.
• Monitor inventory and communicate low stock levels, maintenance concerns, or safety issues to management.
• Collaborate with kitchen team members and follow supervisor direction to ensure efficient and high-quality operations.
• Among other tasks.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0-1 year of experience as a restaurant or banquet cook. Previous culinary training.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Food Handler Card Required.
