Line Cook - Akron General

Legacy Staffing has partnered with a world-class hospital in Akron, Ohio to hire Line Cooks.  We are hiring for first and second shift opportunities at a pay range starting at $16/hour based on experience and skill level.  This role focuses on preparing and cooking high-quality meals while following established recipes, food safety guidelines, and sanitation standards in a fast-paced kitchen setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, and serve meals according to recipes and production schedules
• Perform food preparation tasks, including measuring ingredients, chopping, and assembling meal components
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation while adhering to food safety and health regulations

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant line cook or commercial kitchen experience
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and maintain quality standards under pressure

Shift Details:

• 1st shift: 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM; Working every other weekend and every other holiday
• 2nd Shift: 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM; Working every other weekend and every other holiday
