Line Cook
At WongGuys Group, we believe great hospitality starts with great food. We are looking for dedicated, hardworking, and reliable Line Cooks who take pride in their craft and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and executing menu items according to company standards while maintaining cleanliness, organization, and food safety throughout your shift. You will work closely with the F&B Director and kitchen team to ensure every guest receives a consistent, high-quality experience.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about cooking, enjoys working as part of a team, and is looking for opportunities to grow within an expanding hospitality company.
Food Preparation & Execution
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain consistency in food quality, portioning, and presentation.
- Set up and stock stations before service.
- Ensure all ingredients are properly prepared and available for service.
- Assist with menu execution during high-volume service periods.
- Follow ticket times and maintain efficiency during peak hours.
Kitchen Operations
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout the shift.
- Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating inventory.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Notify management of low inventory, equipment issues, or product concerns.
- Support teammates when needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Food Safety & Sanitation
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
- Properly label, date, and store food products.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
- Adhere to company opening, closing, and cleaning procedures.
Teamwork & Professionalism
- Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to work.
- Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Accept coaching and feedback from management.
- Contribute to a supportive and team-oriented kitchen culture.
- Uphold WongGuys Group standards of hospitality and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- ServSafe certification preferred but not required.

Company Information
Founded in 2009 by Henry Wong, the VIVA Entertainment Group(under a previous name) has become a well-known name in the restaurant business.
In recent years, especially after the 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic, VIVA Entertainment went through a company-wide restructuring to reestablish its name and reputation. Wong revitalized his restaurant business with new management techniques, improved marketing skills, and a passion for bringing VIVA Entertainment into the big leagues.
However, VIVA's success does not take away from their humble origins, for the company began as a simple ten-seat take-out restaurant. Over the next decade, it evolved into multiple unique and upscale bars and restaurants that provide the guests with the atmosphere and environment they want for their dining experiences.
This evolution was not easy, and it continues to inspire Wong to constantly improve his skills, and therefore, the skills of the business.
