LINE COOK QUEEN S HEAD PUB
Queen s Head Pub is looking for an experienced, motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team.
We are looking for a cook who understands professional kitchen standards, can execute consistently in a high-volume environment, and takes pride in preparation, organization, and teamwork.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
-Minimum 3 years of professional kitchen experience required
-Current Food Handler s Card required
-Strong to excellent knife skills
-Strong prep skills and understanding of professional kitchen preparation
-Ability to prepare sauces, soups, stocks, vegetables, proteins, and other components from scratch
Knowledge of meat fabrication and proper protein handling
-Ability to execute quick-fire orders accurately and efficiently in a high-volume environment
-Ability to remain calm, organized, and focused under pressure
-Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
-Strong teamwork mentality and willingness to support the entire kitchen operation
Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked station
-Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
-Professional work references required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
-Expo experience
-Hotel, country club, upscale restaurant, or other high-volume hospitality experience
-Experience working multiple stations and rotating through different kitchen positions
-Strong understanding of kitchen organization, sanitation, food safety, and ticket execution
