Line Cook Position Summary Line Cooks work in the heart of our organization, providing behind-the-scenes service to our residents, guests, and employees. Line Cooks prepare foods on a large-scale, commercial-type basis for our fine dining restaurant, grill, various catered events, or within our Health Pavilion Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living areas. A Line Cook assists with menu planning and preparation of food according to menus and standardized recipes. Line Cooks observe special diet requests and orders to assure that the correct diet is being served.
