Job description
General Accountabilities
- Inspects and cleans food preparation areas or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices.
- Ensures food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
- Ensures freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, dating all containers once opened, and rotating stock.
- Seasons and cooks food according to recipes or personal judgment and experience.
- Knowledge of menus and portion sizes to ensure consistency.
- Observes and tests foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently.
- Ensure food prep is done everyday.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work space.
Job Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year related experience is required.
- 18 years or older

Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $16.00 per hour
- Starting pay is based off of experience. Consideration for a raise after 90 days.
