We are seeking a passionate and dependable Line CookIII to join our award-winning Culinary team. This role is ideal for an experienced cook who takes pride in quality, consistency, teamwork, and creating memorable dining experiences for every guest.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and execute menu items according to established recipes, presentation standards, and Forbes luxury service expectations.
- Maintain quality, consistency, and timing during high-volume breakfast, lunch, dinner, and banquet service.
- Set up, stock, and maintain assigned station with proper mise en place.
- Ensure all food is prepared safely and meets company quality standards.
- Follow all sanitation and food safety procedures, including HACCP guidelines.
- Assist with receiving, rotating, and storing food products using FIFO practices.
- Work collaboratively with chefs and fellow culinary team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation throughout each shift.
- Support banquet and special event production as needed.
- Demonstrate flexibility by assisting in other kitchen areas when business demands require.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of professional culinary experience in a hotel, fine dining restaurant, country club, or upscale hospitality environment.
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of classical cooking techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Commitment to cleanliness, organization, and food safety.
- Positive attitude with a team-first mentality.
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn.
- Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Luxury hotel or Forbes-rated property experience preferred.
- Culinary degree or formal culinary training is a plus.
- Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain).
