• Schedule: Friday - Tuesday, 5:30 AM - 1:30 PM
• Pay Range: $20.00 - $20.50 per hour
• Employment Type: Direct Hire, Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Position Overview
The Line Cook is responsible for supporting daily food production in a professional kitchen environment, including grill, pantry, hotline, and cold food preparation areas. This role plays a key part in ensuring meals are prepared safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and dining space.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes and production schedules.
• Support grill, pantry, hotline, and cold food production operations.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP procedures.
• Maintain menu rotations and assist with meal preparation planning.
• Ensure food quality, presentation, and proper portion control.
• Produce box lunches and support hospitality and catering functions as needed.
• Safely operate and clean commercial kitchen equipment.
• Monitor food inventory and minimize waste to control costs.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout kitchen and dining areas.
• Provide excellent customer service and address guest inquiries professionally.
• Assist team members in various kitchen functions as needed.
• Participate in daily production meetings and communicate effectively with leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ServSafe Certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Minimum of 3 years of line cook experience in a high-volume or quantity food production environment preferred.
• Experience working with allergens and preventing cross-contact.
• Ability to read and follow recipes accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and OSHA guidelines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in hot and cold kitchen environments.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance when required.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Exposure to commercial kitchen equipment and cleaning chemicals.
