Flava Wings in Houston, TX is looking for a passionate and energetic Line Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen team! Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to Flava Wings' recipes, portioning, and quality standards
• Operate fryers and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift
• Monitor food temperatures and ensure proper food handling and storage procedures
• Restock ingredients and prep items to ensure smooth, uninterrupted service
• Communicate effectively with team members to manage ticket times during high-volume rushes
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines in compliance with local regulations

Requirements:

• Food Handler's Certification 
• Prior experience in a quick service, fast casual, or high-volume kitchen preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders simultaneously
• Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment, including fryers
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency
• Reliable, punctual, and a team-first attitude
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
