Description
Position Summary
Responsible for leading a team of Production Associates to produce/assemble quality personal care products.
Responsibilities and Essential Duties
- Perform assigned tasks in accordance with established safety policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) set forth by the company.
- Display appropriate work ethics in the workplace while in group settings.
- Maintain good housekeeping and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) in assigned work areas and lines.
- Ensure all work assigned to Production Associates is performed in accordance with specifications, instructions, and all requirements.
- Complete and maintain all necessary paperwork and logbooks associated with their line/work station while complying with all regulations.
- Ensure all materials are correct and accounted for prior to and after each run.
- Ensure all safety guards are in place.
Technical Skills Required
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must be a team player.
- Leadership skills.
- Bilingual (Spanish & English) preferred.
- Basic math skills.
Experience Required
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous production and or manufacturing experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to sit, balance, climb, stand, bend, squat, squeeze, kneel, turn, crouch, stoop repeatedly.
- Physically able to lift 50 pounds.
- Frequent exposure to varying temperatures, loud noises, heavy machinery, fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, electrical, chemicals, and vibrations.
- Frequent use of computer screen.
- Must be able to discern differences in colors and shades.
- Must be able to read labels that could contain small fonts.
- Exposure to repetitive motions (making substantial movements/motions of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers).
