Job title: Lists Analyst, Lists Assurance
About the Role
Dow Jones Risk & Compliance is a global provider of third-party risk management and regulatory compliance solutions. We deliver data, research tools and services to help our clients meet anti-money laundering, anti-bribery, anti-corruption and economic sanctions regulations and mitigate third-party risk.
You will join a global team of quality analysts who support a multilingual research team in researching, recording and updating details on individuals and entities mentioned in Sanctions & Other Official Lists (Special Lists) issued by government bodies and regulators around the world, for example, the Office of Foreign Assets Control in the US, national law enforcement bodies or securities regulators. You will report to the Manager, Lists Assurance. You will be based in Princeton.
You Will
Conduct quality checks within set deadlines and according to existing processes
Manually and automatically proof the details of the Special Lists data produced by the Special Lists research team
Ensure data consistency, accuracy, completeness and timeliness across Special Lists content
Adhere to robust pre- and post-production quality processes
Log issues, analyze the data gathered, take remedial action and share feedback
Collaborate with Special Lists editors and automation team to improve processes and data quality across all content.
Work on the development of existing and new automation tasks/projects
Work with manager and colleagues to implement automation, expand existing scope and generate team efficiencies
Proactively contribute to the development and refinement of the quality-assurance processes
Work on time-sensitive requests from internal and external stakeholders pertaining to data quality
Support the Research team conducting critical sanctions updates as conditions warrant
You Have
At least 5 years experience of working with sanctions data provided by the EU, USA, UK, UN and other bodies
Innovative and strategic way of thinking to address complex data quality issues
Attention to detail, quality focus, proactive approach
The ability to handle large and complex data sets in various formats, working to tight deadlines
Good communication skills needed as must be able to work efficiently and effectively in team environment
The ability to adapt readily to changing customer expectations
Experience working within a global team
Fluency in written and spoken English and at least one other language
Preferred
Management experience that has provided a strategic perspective
Working knowledge of advanced Python / SQL / Google Apps Script / MS Excel to analyze data
Experience in process or data automation/coding
Education to degree level

Base Pay Range: $65,000 - $80,000
