The Opportunity:
The Fletcher-Maynard Academy seeks a dynamic, culturally responsive literacy coach who is deeply grounded in evidence-based instructional practices and committed to advancing equity and excellence for all students. The ideal candidate builds strong, trust-based partnerships with educators and administrators to support rigorous, inclusive, and data-informed literacy instruction. They bring deep knowledge of the science of reading and writing, including effective practices for multilingual learners, students with disabilities, and students experiencing reading difficulties. The coach will skillfully lead collaborative planning, facilitate high-impact professional learning, and model effective instructional practices that accelerate student growth and close opportunity gaps. A successful candidate will be a reflective practitioner, a skilled facilitator of adult learning, and a passionate advocate for student success.
