Litigation Associate Attorney

Pay: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Location

This is a full-time, permanent, on-site opportunity in our Greenville, South Carolina office, offering the chance to work closely with experienced attorneys and gain valuable day-to-day mentorship.

Candidates must have graduated from an accredited law school and must have passed the South Carolina Bar Exam, or passed the Uniform Bar Exam and MPRE within the past 3 years with qualifying scores for South Carolina admission.

Job Description

• Assist with medical malpractice, commercial, and general civil litigation matters
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents
• Develop strong written and oral advocacy skills through hands-on case involvement
• Support case preparation, discovery, depositions, hearings, and other litigation activities
• Work closely with experienced attorneys to develop legal strategy and evaluate complex issues
• Communicate professionally with colleagues, clients, and other parties
• Take on increasing responsibility as your experience and capabilities grow

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited law school
• Passed the South Carolina Bar Exam, or passed the UBE and MPRE with qualifying scores for South Carolina admission within the past 3 years
• 0 to 2 years of legal or litigation experience
• Strong legal research and writing abilities
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated interest in litigation and advocacy
• Strong academic performance is valued
• Moot Court, Law Journal, clerkship, or similar law school experience is preferred
• Collaborative mindset, intellectual curiosity, and strategic thinking ability
