Pay: $160,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year

Location: Hybrid opportunity based in Temecula, California, offering the flexibility to work both in the office and remotely while collaborating with an experienced litigation team.

Job Description

• Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Analyze insurance policies and complex coverage issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other substantive legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
• Handle written discovery and motion practice.
• Take and defend depositions of parties, fact witnesses, and experts.
• Represent clients in state and federal court proceedings.
• Communicate directly with clients and provide strategic legal guidance.
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple offices on complex litigation matters.
• Mentor junior attorneys and legal support staff as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license required.
• 2+ years of litigation experience in insurance coverage litigation and/or complex commercial litigation.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience drafting motions, pleadings, and briefs.
• Deposition and courtroom experience preferred.
• Insurance coverage or policyholder-side litigation experience highly preferred.
• Construction-related insurance or construction defect experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.

• 2 to 4 years: $160,000–$185,000

• 4 to 6 years: $185,000–$210,000

• 6 to 8 years: $210,000–$235,000

• 8+ years / significant insurance coverage expertise: $235,000–$250,000+
