Commercial Litigation Associate: Own Your Cases from Start to Finish in Charlotte

We are partnering with a well-established, highly regarded law firm that is seeking a Litigation Associate with 5 to 10 years of experience to join its Charlotte, North Carolina office. You will handle commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution, with the chance to work on landlord representation, real estate litigation, and property management matters along the way.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned associate who wants real ownership of a caseload and the backing of an experienced, collaborative team.

What You'll Do

• Manage commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs in state and federal court
• Take and defend depositions and argue motions and hearings
• Represent landlords and property management clients in real estate and lease-related disputes
• Advise clients on litigation strategy, risk, and resolution options
• Prepare for and participate in mediations and trials

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active member of the North Carolina State Bar in good standing (required)
• Admission to the South Carolina Bar is a plus
• 5 to 10 years of experience handling commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Experience with landlord representation, real estate litigation, or property management matters is a plus
• Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
