Our growing law firm is looking to hire a family attorney who is fiercely passionate about representing clients facing one of the most challenging times in their lives.
Responsibilities
Assist clients effectively by understanding their needs analyzing the situation then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of action
Prepare legal documents such as legal pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgments, and orders for a high volume of cases
Collaborate with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move files through the civil litigation process
Ensure clients are effectively represented at court hearings as needed
Requirements
Must be licensed to practice law in Texas
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must live in the Dallas metroplex or be willing to commute to Dallas
At least 1 year of courtroom and civil litigation experience is preferred
Experience handling divorce matters is a plus
Experience handling child custody matters is a plus
