Trueline, representing a nationally recognized Am Law firm with a strong commercial litigation practice, is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to join its litigation team in Chicago, IL. What You'll Do as the Legal Administrative Assistant:
Provide day-to-day administrative support to a team of commercial litigation attorneys
Draft, edit, proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, and court filings
Prepare and electronically file documents in state and federal courts
Maintain and organize electronic case files using document management software
Review court orders and pleadings and coordinate docketing requests
Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, conference calls, and travel arrangements
Process time entries, assist with billing, expense reports, and accounts receivable activities
Open and close client matters, prepare engagement documents, and assist with conflict checks
Coordinate incoming mail, correspondence, and other administrative workflows
Serve as a dependable resource to attorneys and team members while meeting critical litigation deadlines
Must-Haves as the Legal Administrative Assistant:
3-5 years of experience supporting attorneys in a law firm environment
At least 3 years of civil litigation experience involving state and federal courts
Experience with electronic court filing systems
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Professional demeanor and commitment to outstanding client service

Experience with NetDocuments, NetDocs, or similar document management systems
