    Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Litigation Legal Assistant to support our distinguished Litigation Practice Group. This role offers an exciting and prestigious opportunity for a top-performing professional to contribute to high-stakes cases and work alongside some of the most accomplished legal minds in the industry. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and resourceful individual with a passion for litigation and a keen eye for detail.
     
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Assist attorneys with the preparation and management of litigation cases from inception through resolution.
    • Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and correspondence.
    • Conduct thorough legal research and compile data to support case strategies.
    • Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible.
    • Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and trial dates, and manage attorneys' calendars.
    • Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and court personnel to facilitate case progress.
    • Handle electronic court filings and ensure compliance with court rules and deadlines.
    • Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.
    • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
    Qualifications:
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal, preferably in litigation.
    • Strong understanding of litigation processes and court procedures.
    • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in legal research tools and software, such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
