Our client, a respected law firm in Nashville, is seeking a highly organized and proactive Litigation Legal Assistant to support a busy team of attorneys handling sophisticated litigation matters. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being at the center of case management, takes pride in delivering exceptional work, and can confidently manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven practice.
Responsibilities
Support attorneys throughout all phases of the litigation process
Prepare, edit, and finalize pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and legal documents
Coordinate state and federal court filings and ensure compliance with court deadlines
Manage attorney calendars, hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial schedules
Serve as a liaison between attorneys, clients, courts, and opposing counsel
Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files
Assist with trial preparation, exhibits, document production, and case logistics
Track critical deadlines and maintain litigation calendars
Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant
Experience supporting attorneys in a litigation practice
Strong knowledge of court procedures and electronic filing systems
Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
