LHH is hiring a Litigation Legal Assistant for a respected law firm in Tampa, FL. We are seeking a detail-oriented legal professional with experience supporting construction defect, construction litigation, or insurance defense matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence

  • Manage attorney calendars, court deadlines, hearings, and depositions

  • Maintain and organize case files and litigation documents

  • Coordinate e-filings in Florida state and federal courts

  • Assist with trial preparation, exhibits, and document production

  • Communicate with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and court personnel

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of litigation legal assistant experience

  • Construction defect, construction litigation, or insurance defense experience preferred

  • Knowledge of Florida court procedures and e-filing requirements

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software
