LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a reputable law firm in the Tampa area to identify an experienced Legal Assistant to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional seeking a collaborative work environment, long-term stability, and the flexibility of a hybrid schedule. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of legal assistant experience supporting attorneys in a fast-paced law firm environment and possess exceptional organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
Responsibilities
Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys and legal staff.
Prepare, revise, and format legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, and discovery materials.
Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, hearings, depositions, and client appointments.
Coordinate court filings and maintain case files, both electronic and physical.
Monitor deadlines and assist with docket management.
Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and vendors.
Process expense reports, time entry, billing requests, and other administrative functions as needed.
Maintain confidentiality and ensure accuracy across all legal documentation.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of legal assistant experience required.
Knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and document preparation.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday
