    Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

    Location

    Miami, Florida – Full-time, fully on-site in a collaborative office environment where you'll work closely with attorneys and fellow legal professionals.

    Note

    Applicants must have at least 3 years of litigation legal secretary or legal assistant experience supporting attorneys in a litigation practice. Candidates should be comfortable handling court filings, litigation deadlines, scheduling, document preparation, and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.

    Job Description

    • Provide day-to-day administrative and legal support to litigation attorneys.
    • Prepare, revise, proofread, and format pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents.
    • Coordinate court filings, litigation deadlines, attorney calendars, and case schedules.
    • Schedule hearings, depositions, mediations, meetings, and client appointments.
    • Maintain organized case files and assist with overall case management.
    • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, vendors, and outside parties.
    • Assist with document preparation and administrative support for land use and zoning matters when needed.
    • Track permitting, agency submissions, project deadlines, and attorney workflow for specialized legal matters.
    • Help keep matters moving efficiently while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of litigation legal secretary or legal assistant experience.
    • Strong understanding of litigation procedures and court rules.
    • Experience with electronic court filing systems.
    • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and calendar management.
    • Excellent organization, communication, and time management skills.
    • Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines with accuracy.
    • Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail.
    • State and federal court filing experience preferred.
    • Land use, zoning, environmental, or local government law experience is a plus but not required.
