Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to provide high-level administrative and case management support to a senior legal team member. This role is heavily focused on organization, documentation handling, and ensuring litigation-related materials are properly tracked, routed, and maintained across multiple active matters. This is a fully remote position requiring prior experience working independently in a virtual legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate intake and setup of new litigation matters, including stakeholder notifications and legal hold support
- Manage incoming legal correspondence, including service of process, mail, and email inquiries
- Organize, maintain, and update case files, regulatory complaints, and legal records within internal systems
- Scan, sort, and route physical and digital legal documents to appropriate workflows
- Maintain accurate tracking systems and filing structures for active litigation matters
- Support document management and administrative tasks for the legal team
- Assist with special projects and process improvements as needed
- Review incoming documentation to determine appropriate routing or next steps
Qualifications:
- 5–8+ years of experience in litigation support, paralegal, or legal administrative roles
- Experience in high-volume legal or litigation environments required
- Prior exposure to financial services, lending, real estate, foreclosure, insurance claims, or compliance preferred
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with collaboration tools such as Teams preferred
- MUST have experience providing support within a 100% remote setting
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certification preferred but not required
