Litigation Paralegal opportunity with a high-end Law Firm located in Coral Gables, FL.
The
Litigation Paralegal is responsible for below specific duties.
Your specific duties will include: - Lead discovery document management, including the collection, processing, and organization of files within litigation databases and repositories.
- Manage document databases, coordinate large-scale reviews, and lead production preparation (including redactions, Bates stamping, and strict quality control).
- Prepare and meticulously maintain privilege logs. Serve as the primary drafter for discovery requests and responses (utilizing draft shells prepared by Legal Assistants).
- Serve as the lead support for trial preparation. Manage trial exhibits, assist with trial binders, and prepare deposition exhibits and summaries.
- Develop case chronologies and timelines, provide fact investigation support, conduct due diligence, and execute legal research with accurate citation checking.
- Provide first-draft substantive support for pleadings and motions and prepare comprehensive witness files.
- Lead document review for internal investigations and organize complex evidence for white-collar defense matters.
- Provide substantive coordination with foreign counsel, specifically concerning our South American matters.
Required qualifications for the position include:- Bachelor's degree and/or a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program.
- 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience, featuring hands-on involvement in discovery and trial preparation.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing e-discovery/litigation document review platforms and large-scale document productions.
- Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish).
- Strong legal research and citation-checking skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and written communication skills.
Preferred qualifications for the position include:- Experience supporting white-collar defense and internal investigations.
- Notary public commission or willingness to obtain.
Pay Rate Range: $100,000 - $110,000 for salaried position.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits, including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
