We are a boutique law firm seeking a skilled Paralegal with experience in general civil litigation and personal injury, with the potential to gain probate experience, to join our team. We are looking for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and can manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Draft, file, and manage pleadings, discovery, and correspondence.
Assist attorneys with trial preparation, hearings, mediations, and depositions.
Maintain case files and track/calendar important deadlines.
Communicate with clients, courts, and all counsel in a professional manner.
Conduct legal research using LexisNexis.
Order, review, and organize medical and legal records.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in litigation and/or personal injury (preferred).
Knowledge of state and local court procedures; some federal experience may be required.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management software (Practice Panther).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
