The Global Litigation team is responsible for managing high‑stakes litigation and disputes across all regions. We are seeking an exceptional litigation paralegal for the North America Litigation team.ResponsibilitiesSupport TikTok's Global Litigation team to manage litigation, pre‑litigation disputes, investigations, and regulatory matters from intake through resolution, including overseeing the patent docket and supporting employment matters.Drive case management support, including intake, tracking, file management, and calendaring.Support fact investigation and discovery, including custodial interviews, acting as a liaison for witnesses and outside counsel, document collections, review, and coordinating with outside counsel and e‑discovery teams for processing and production.Work with cross‑functional partners to gather, organize, and maintain information and data to support TikTok's litigation matters.Manage document preservation and legal hold processes in collaboration with eDiscovery, Forensics, and IT teams.Review and process a wide array of legal process, inquiries, and documents.Systematically collect key metrics and identify trends to support operational improvements.Work with leadership and finance to prepare metrics and audit reports.Assist in implementing and optimizing internal processes and creating standard operating procedures for the litigation team.Provide administrative and operational support on a broad range of legal matters, workflows, systems, and tooling.Develop and refine litigation playbooks, templates, and internal processes to increase operational efficiency.Collaborate with and provide support to attorneys, partners, stakeholders, and leadership on cross‑functional projects.Minimum Qualifications5+ years of litigation experience in an in‑house, tech, or law firm environment.Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA‑accredited program.Proficient knowledge of the litigation process, including motion practice, discovery, trial, and appellate procedures, and the ability to administratively manage all phases of litigation.Technically savvy and comfortable quickly learning and using various tools.Ability to be flexible in a fast‑paced environment, balance competing priorities with a broad set of stakeholders, and manage products timely.Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with organizational and time‑management skills, with keen attention to detail.Preferred QualificationsExperience handling patent/intellectual property matters.Excellent legal and business judgment, critical thinking, and ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.Detail‑oriented and willing to provide administrative and operational support.Ability to think strategically and use good judgment to build scalable processes and to elevate matters that require attention.Excellent interpersonal and cross‑cultural communication skills, with the ability to build alignment across teams in a diverse, global environment.Job InformationThe hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $39.46–$62.12.BenefitsEmployees have day‑one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance; a 401(k) savings plan with company match; paid parental leave; short‑term and long‑term disability coverage; life insurance; wellbeing benefits; 10 paid holidays per year; 10 paid sick days per year; and 17 days of paid personal time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
