Bring your litigation experience to a well-respected Seattle law firm on a temporary basis. The firm represents clients in commercial real estate, construction, business, and civil litigation matters, and is looking for someone who can confidently manage litigation support from case inception through trial preparation.
This is a great opportunity for a litigation paralegal who enjoys working in a fast-paced legal environment and can make an immediate impact. The position begins onsite, with the opportunity to transition to a hybrid schedule after a successful onboarding period. If an upcoming trial proceeds, full-time onsite attendance will be required throughout the trial.
Litigation Paralegal Responsibilities:
- Partner with attorneys throughout all phases of commercial and civil litigation matters
- Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery documents, subpoenas, and legal correspondence
- Coordinate and submit filings in Washington state and federal courts
- Track litigation deadlines, hearings, court appearances, and filing requirements
- Organize and maintain case files, exhibits, and litigation documents
- Coordinate service of process and obtain court and public records
- Assist with document review, e-discovery, and privilege log preparation
- Support attorneys with trial preparation and courtroom logistics, as needed
- Provide overall case management and administrative support throughout the litigation process
Litigation Paralegal Qualifications:
- Previous experience supporting attorneys in commercial, construction, business, or civil litigation
- Strong understanding of Washington Superior Court procedures and federal court filing requirements
- Experience preparing and filing legal documents through state e-filing systems
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active cases and deadlines
- Strong written communication and legal drafting abilities
- Familiarity with local court procedures in King, Pierce, and Snohomish Counties preferred
