Job Description
LOCATION: Burbank, CAPAY RANGE: $130K - $180K+ (bonus/commission)QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 3-5 trial experience as first chair
- Active member in good standing with the California State Bar.
- Minimum of 5 years of Personal injury litigation experience.
- Be able to work under strict deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Be able to handle a large caseload.
- Strong legal research and analysis.
- Strong legal writing skills.
- Law and motion experience.
- Well organized and detail oriented.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Day-to-day handling of cases from filing of the complaint to trial.
- Provide guidance and lead the litigation team.
- taking depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
- Reviewing drafted documents from staff and associates.
- Trial preparation and strategy.
- Prepare and strategize Motions in Limine and associated trial documents.
- Settlement negotiations.
- Settlement/dispositive proceedings [Mediations, arbitrations, etc.]
- Jury trials as First Chair.
- Post-trial motions.
- Provide legal opinions to clients.
