Litigation Secretary - Construction Defect (Plaintiff HOA) ($75-90K)
East Bay Law Firm, located in Alameda, of 4 Attorneys, is seeking a Litigation Secretary. This position is in Construction Defect working on complex cases. We represent the Plaintiffs – HOA.
The ideal candidate will have Construction Defect experience, HOA experience, and/or Construction law experience.
· This is an “in office” position; no hybrid.
Requirements:
· 5-10 years plus of Litigation Legal Secretary Experience
· Computer savvy in Microsoft Word programs
· Strong attention to detail
· Outstanding client services skills
· Excellent formatting, proofreading and editing skills
· Written and verbal communication skills
Job Description:
· Drafting and editing correspondence and pleadings
· Arranging Court Appearances, Depositions, Mediations, etc.
· Assisting in compiling legal documents
· Filing pleadings with the applicable court
· Managing the Attorney’s Calendar
· E-filing
· Handling telephone calls w/clients, opposing counsel and courts
· Maintaining and updating client files
This firm provides an excellent benefit package which includes Health, Dental, Eye, 401K, Paid Holidays, PTO and more.
Salary depends on experience, however, it can go as high as $90K with qualified experience in Construction Defect Law.
