Description

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Secretary to join a well-established defense firm in Glendale, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical malpractice defense litigation; however, candidates with solid civil litigation defense experience are also encouraged to apply. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys in a fast-paced environment, supporting all phases of litigation while ensuring accuracy, organization, and adherence to court deadlines.

  • Prepare, format, and file legal documents in state and federal courts, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials
  • Manage attorney calendars, court deadlines, hearings, depositions, and trial-related scheduling
  • Draft, revise, and finalize correspondence, pleadings, and litigation documents with exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience in medical malpractice defense litigation preferred; candidates with civil litigation defense experience will also be considered
  • Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, court rules, e-filing, and document management, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
