Adams & Martin Group is partnering with a well-established San Francisco labor and employment litigation firm to identify an experienced Litigation Secretary for a direct-hire opportunity. The firm is seeking a Litigation Secretary who is comfortable working directly with attorneys, managing a busy litigation desk, and taking full ownership of calendaring and filing responsibilities. This is a critical hire for the team, and candidates must have recent hands-on experience with litigation calendaring and state and federal court filings.

Monday through Friday
8:30 AM - 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Top Qualifications
Minimum 4+ years of litigation secretary experience
Recent hands-on litigation calendaring experience is required
Recent state and federal court filing experience is required
Experience managing deadlines without the support of a dedicated docketing department
Strong tenure and stability in previous positions
Team-oriented personality with excellent interpersonal skills
Litigation experience is required; labor and employment experience is a plus but not required
Key Responsibilities
Litigation Calendaring & Docket Management
Maintain all litigation calendars for assigned attorneys
Calculate, track, and monitor court deadlines, filing deadlines, hearings, depositions, mediations, and other critical litigation dates
Maintain accurate docketing and calendaring without support from a dedicated docketing department
Ensure compliance with California state and federal court deadlines and procedures
Work directly with attorneys to manage case timelines and litigation strategies
Litigation Support
Prepare, proofread, revise, and finalize legal documents and correspondence
E-file documents in California state and federal courts
Prepare and process subpoenas and related litigation documents
Coordinate service of process and court filings
Assist with discovery-related tasks and case management support
Organize and maintain physical and electronic client files
Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, and vendors
Administrative Support
Manage attorney calendars, meetings, and scheduling
Coordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, and other litigation events
Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence
Assist with document preparation, formatting, and assembly
Provide high-level administrative support to one partner and two associates
Qualifications
Required
4+ years of litigation secretary experience
Recent hands-on litigation calendaring experience
Recent California state and federal court filing experience
Strong understanding of court rules and procedures
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilitie
