We're Looking For: Pokémon Live Stream Host

Two Kings Cards | Whatnot Live Auctions

Do you know the difference between a base set Charizard and a modern reprint? Have strong opinions about which Pokémon generation is the best? Can you talk about Pokémon for hours without getting bored?

We might have a job for you.

Two Kings Cards is hiring Pokémon Live Stream Hosts to run live card auctions on Whatnot. We're looking for people who know the hobby, enjoy meeting other collectors, and have enough personality to keep a room entertained.

You don't need professional streaming experience or an encyclopedic knowledge of every Pokémon set. You do need to be comfortable on camera, know your way around Pokémon cards, and enjoy talking to people.

What You'll Do

• Host live Pokémon card auctions on Whatnot

• Show off singles, sealed products, chase cards, and other collectibles

• Talk Pokémon with viewers, answer questions, and keep conversations going

• Welcome new viewers and get regulars involved in the stream

• Build excitement during auctions without pressuring people to buy

• Celebrate big pulls and memorable moments with collectors

• Prepare inventory, organize cards, and set up auction listings

• Work with other team members to keep streams organized and on schedule

• Maintain a fun, welcoming atmosphere throughout each stream

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

• Actually knows and enjoys Pokémon, especially the trading card game

• Can carry a conversation without needing a script

• Feels comfortable being on camera for several hours

• Has a sense of humor and isn't afraid to show some personality

• Can explain what makes a card interesting or collectible

• Knows how to keep people engaged, even when auctions slow down

• Shows up on time, stays organized, and works well with others

• Enjoys selling but understands that building relationships matters just as much

Bonus points if you've streamed on Whatnot, TikTok, or Twitch; worked in sales or customer service; or spent more money on Pokémon cards than you'd care to admit.

Never Hosted a Live Stream?

That's not a dealbreaker.

We can teach you how to operate Whatnot, manage auctions, handle inventory, and run a stream.

What we're looking for is harder to teach: personality, confidence, a genuine interest in Pokémon, and the ability to make people want to hang out in your stream.

If you've got those qualities and you're willing to learn, we want to talk.

What's It Like Working Here?

You'll spend your shifts talking Pokémon, selling cards, meeting collectors, and occasionally watching someone pull something ridiculous.

Some streams will be packed with people competing for chase cards. Others might turn into a 20-minute debate about whether the original 151 will ever be topped.

You'll also have responsibilities outside of being on camera. There's inventory to organize, auctions to prepare, and a team counting on you to do your part.

It's a sales job, and performance matters. But it's also a chance to work in an industry you already enjoy, surrounded by people who share that interest.

Think You'd Be Good at This?

We'd like to find out.
