Load Operator-3rd shift

Job Summary

The position involves following standard work instructions and practicing safe work habits to ensure production is efficient and safe. The primary responsibilities include unloading machined wheels from the 083 Machining line and loading appropriate wheels to the 067 paint line.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the quality of wheels for burrs and other defects.
• Understand the Kanban process and flow.
• Manage the disposition of pallets and trays.

Equipment and Tools Operated

• Power switch to the pretreatment line.
• Various hand tools for 5S activities.
• Troubleshoot the pretreatment process and provide advice.

Safety Equipment

In addition to general PPE (bump cap, safety glasses, steel toe shoes, and hearing protection), no additional safety equipment is specified for this position.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: 4 weeks of training provided; no previous experience required.
• Aptitudes: Ability to distinguish part types, detect defects in paint and metal, and demonstrate hand-eye coordination.
