The Shipping Associate is responsible for loading and shipping finished products while ensuring compliance with food safety laws, policies, and standards. They must report any food safety concerns promptly.
- Unloading trucks of empty trays and dollies, and counting items
- Creating load sheets based on orders and late additions
- Loading trucks accurately according to load sheets, recording counts and codes
- Communicating code changes to wrapping operators during production
- Maintaining inventory records and logs
- Keeping an organized, clean, and sanitary work area
- Recording data such as trailer numbers, product codes, quantities, and route info
- Completing necessary training requirements
- Following instructions from management and effective communication with team members
