    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Loan Servicing Payoff Specialist supports the loan payoff process and related servicing activities accurately and timely. This role is responsible for processing payoff-related tasks, maintaining accurate loan and collateral documentation, supporting escrow and insurance-related activities, and ensuring records are complete and audit-ready.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Prepare and process collateral releases, escrow refund disbursements, and related filing checks accurately and within established timelines.
    • Review paid off loans files for credit life, cancel private mortgage insurance, and cancel other third-party vendors.
    • Organize paid-off loan documentation for scanning, retention, and recordkeeping in accordance with Bank standards.
    • Assist with research and process insurance policies for tracking, maintenance of core system for insurance billing, and process insurance cancellations.
    • Assist with semi-annual real estate tax payments along with other Escrow Account functions.

    Operational Excellence

    • Prioritize work effectively to ensure timely completion of tasks, projects, and deliverables.
    • Evaluate and optimize processes to reduce errors, eliminate inefficiencies, and improve outcomes.
    • Ensure documentation is complete, current, and audit-ready in accordance with policy and regulatory requirements.
    • Adhere to bank policies and procedures.
    • Maintain reliable and predictable onsite attendance to meet business and customer needs.

    This position is an individual contributor role and does not have direct reports.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    This job operates in a professional office environment and works independently and as part of a successful, productive team.

    This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and scanning machines.

    While performing the duties of this job the associate is frequently required to sit or stand,

    arms. The associate is occasionally required to move about the banking facility. Visual

    ability to view a computer screen for long periods of time is required.

    The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

    EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

    Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

    TRAVEL:

    This position does not require travel.

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

    Experience:

    • 1-3 years of experience within a fast-paced, service-oriented environment preferred.
    • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
    • Effective planning and priority setting; ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Detail oriented with ability to multi-task.
    • Work independently within a team setting.
    • Maintain a high degree of discretion and confidentiality.

    Education:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required
