Bartenders are responsible for providing libations and offering customized recommendations. The right person should be familiar with the latest in mixology, bar equipment, and sanitation standards, with a focus on maintaining an attractive bar. This position offers opportunity for casual conversation, creativity and allows for building on one's style and previous bartending experiences. Preferred candidates will have understanding of state and local serving guidelines.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.

• Refined verbal communication skills.

• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and remain composed during peak business periods.

• Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage professionally with a diverse range of guests.

• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, spirits, and responsible alcohol service practices.

• Previous bartending experience required, preferably in a hotel, resort, restaurant, or high-volume bar environment.

• Must meet all state and local requirements for alcohol service certification (such as TABC certification in Texas).

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and frequently lift moderate weight, up to 50 pounds.
