Local Class A CDL Driver | Refrigerated Meat Deliveries

This position offers consistent local routes, modern automatic trucks, and competitive activity-based pay. 

Pay

• Average annual earnings: $80,000
• Average weekly earnings: approximately $1,538
• Mileage pay: $0.63–$0.67 per mile
• Stop pay: $29 per stop
• Load pay: $5 per load
• Breakdown pay: $15 per hour
• Holiday pay: $200 per day
• Safety bonus opportunities

Schedule and Home Time

• Home daily
• Local routes operating within approximately 300 miles of Denver
• Paid online orientation
• Training and onboarding take place in Denver

Job Details

• Transport frozen meat on refrigerated trailers
• Drive between the distribution center in Fort Morgan and the drop yard in Commerce City
• Unload palletized meat into customer freezers
• Use a dolly, electric pallet jack, and liftgate
• Handle boxes weighing approximately 10–85 pounds
• Automatic day-cab trucks
• Slip seating required; trucks remain at the account during time off
• Drivers may be asked to assist other accounts as needed

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Ability to lift up to 85 pounds when required
• Comfortable with frequent customer interaction and physical unloading
• Willingness to train in Denver and assist other accounts when needed
• Reliable transportation to the assigned reporting location

• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
