**Unlock Your Potential as an Acute Travel RN in the Observation Unit!** **Job Description:** - **Position Title:** Acute Travel RN: Observation Unit (7P-7:30A) - **Location:** Marquette General Hospital, MI - **Position Type:** Travel - **Contract Reason:** Contractor Replacement - **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 72ppd, 0.9FTE - **Shifts:** 12-hour shifts with a mix of 5 days and 5 nights **Unit Profile:** - **Bed Capacity:** 10 beds in the Observation Unit - **Patient Ratios:** Approximately 1:5 (no defined ratios) - **Patient Population:** Adults only (>18 years old) - **Common Diagnoses:** Chest pain, asthma exacerbation, TIA, abdominal pain, urinary issues, blood sugar issues, DVT/PE, cellulitis, and post-procedural monitoring - **Equipment Used:** Cardiac monitor - **EHR System:** Cerner **Key Requirements:** - **Experience:** - 1 year of med/surg experience is required - Telemetry experience is preferred - **Certifications:** - BLS - ACLS - NIH Stroke Scale Competency - Tele/ECG Competency - Optional: TNCC, ENPC - **Additional Qualifications:** - Float to Medical, Cardiac, and Neuro-Ortho Units as needed - Must be willing to work weekends and holidays - **Dress Code:** Scrub color is galaxy blue **Personality Fit:** - We seek enthusiastic RNs ready to make an impact in a dynamic hospital environment! **Important Notes:** - **Attendance Policy:** - Second absence: Formal warning issued - Third absence: Contract termination may occur unless prior arrangement made - All absences must be made up to maintain contracted hours - Note: UPHS-Marquette is not responsible for early termination fees due to just cause. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
