**Join Our Dynamic Team as an LPNT Acute Travel RN - Observation Unit!** **Job Description:** - Be part of a **225-bed specialty care hospital** renowned for its Heart & Vascular Institute, Cancer Center, Brain & Spine, and more! - Work in the **Observation Unit**, part of a **Trauma Level 2** facility. - Embrace a role within a cutting-edge environment serving a diverse adult patient population. **Position Details:** - **Role:** RN in the Observation Unit - **Shifts:** 5 Days/5 Nights, 12-Hour Shifts (7P - 7:30A) - **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 72 per pay period (0.9 FTE) - **Patient Ratios:** Approx. 1:5 - **Unit Capacity:** 10 beds - **Patient Population:** Adults only (18 years and older) **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide excellent care to patients meeting observation status criteria, including conditions such as: - Chest pain - Asthma exacerbation - TIA - Abdominal pain - Urinary issues - Blood sugar issues - DVT/PE - Cellulitis - Post-procedural monitoring - Minor trauma - Float as needed to Medical/Cardiac/Neuro-Ortho Units. **Required Qualifications:** - **Education:** RN license with required certifications (BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale Competency, Tele/ECG Competency) - **Experience:** Minimum of 1 year in med/surg, telemetry experience preferred - **Skills:** Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills are essential. **Additional Information:** - **Weekend/holiday shifts required** - Equipment utilized: Cardiac monitor - Electronic Health Records: Cerner - Supervisory Structure: Reports to ED Director **Dress Code:** - Scrub Color: Galaxy Blue **Attendance Policy:** - Adhere to attendance requirements; absences must be made up to maintain contracted hours. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
