**Join Our Team as an Exercise Physiologist!** **Job Description:** - Are you passionate about helping others achieve their health and fitness goals? - Do you want to make a significant impact in the lives of patients through personalized exercise programming? - We are looking for a dedicated Exercise Physiologist to join our Cardiac Rehabilitation team! **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and implement individualized exercise programs based on established policies and protocols. - Conduct fitness testing and exercise orientations safely and effectively. - Evaluate and interpret patients' health histories to create tailored exercise plans. - Utilize your clinical knowledge to design safe programming for patients with various co-morbidities. - Monitor symptom changes and know the appropriate medical responses. - Respond swiftly to emergencies in the exercise area, including administering CPR when necessary. - Review and write exercise prescriptions based on stress test results and fitness assessments. - Collaborate with nursing staff to provide education and ensure patient safety. - Interact with patients and staff in a friendly and professional manner. - Regularly review and adjust patient exercise programs as needed. - Document variances, incidents, and patient follow-ups according to protocols. - Provide patient education and counseling focused on risk reduction. - Adapt care based on individual patient needs, considering various factors like age and culture. **Qualifications:** - Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology or Exercise Science. - 1-2 years of previous experience in the exercise profession. - Comprehensive knowledge of exercise principles: cardiorespiratory, resistance, and flexibility training. - Ability to perform various exercise tests with proper application and technique. - Cardiac Rehabilitation experience preferred, including an internship. **Skills Needed:** - Required: AHA Basic Health Care Life Support (HCP) Certification. - Preferred: Certified Personal Trainer, Exercise Specialist, or Clinical Exercise Specialist. - Proficient in exercise prescription, manual blood pressure measurement, and glucose monitoring. - Strong interpersonal skills, patient-friendly attitude, and educational counseling abilities. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
