Hours | 36 40 hours/week (local contract) or self-scheduled PRN shifts |
Pay Rate | $58.00 $75.00 per hour |
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Produce high-quality diagnostic MRI images per protocol, ARRT/ARMRIT and accreditation standards
- Perform patient safety pre-screening for contraindications; enforce MR zone/access restrictions
- Start and discontinue peripheral IVs using aseptic technique; administer MR contrast; identify and escalate adverse reactions per protocol
- Operate MRI scanners; select appropriate coils/imaging techniques
- Demonstrate proficiency in EMR, PACS, and DICOM systems
- Maintain HIPAA confidentiality; collaborate with radiologists and the care team
REQUIREMENTS
Must-Have
- ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification
- Texas MRT license
- BLS/CPR certification (AHA or ARC)
- Minimum 1 3 years MRI experience
- Demonstrated contrast administration & venipuncture competency
