Local Flatbed CDL Shuttle Driver

Requirements

• 1 year experience with 6 months verified flatbed in the last 3 years

• Must have 6 months securement training including chains and binders

• Chain and binder securement training preferred

• Must be available to work weekends

• Overtime (time and a half) over 40 hours (driver have potential to earn overtime during the week on weekends)

• Weekend hours vary depending on needs of the plant. 

• Drivers will attend orientation in ATL

• Not a slip seat position (is subject to change)

Moving Gen Sets from CAT plant to 1560 Kepner Dr, Lafayette IN, with occasional runs to surrounding locations

Pay 28/HR

Schedule

50 hours/week

3rd Shift: Thursday night-Monday night (Tuesday and Wednesday nights off) 10 PM 6 AM

Home daily

Equipment Types

2016-2023 Kenworth. Step decks primarily, occasionally flatbed (double drop) - 1st shift drivers will also pull dry vans in addition to flatbeds.

Freight Types

Engines, generators, radiators, etc. Live load and unloads

Truck Speed

Governed at 65

Bonus

• New Hire Transition Bonus: $500 Paid in full on second paycheck

• $3,000 Paid out at $1,000 on second paycheck; $1,000 at 60 days, and $1,000 at 120 days.
