Position Details

Position Details:

• Driver will access and pull containers out of the LA/Long Beach ports and BNSF rails and deliver product to customers in Southern CA

• Port work will be the main focus for the driver and they must be willing to run in and out of the ports on a daily basis.

• Container sizes are 53',45',40',and 20'

• At the receiver, freight is a combination of drop/hook and live unload

• If port work is slow driver will make LTL deliveries or pull intermodal freight

• Majority of LTL/Intermodal deliveries are drop/hook and live load/unload, but occasional loads will require driver to offload with a pallet jack

Special Requirements:

• TWIC required at schedule
• Hazmat required within 60 days of hire
• Driver is required to run LTL and Intermodal freight as needed

Truck Info:

• Automatic Day cabs
• International and Freightliner (Driver does not choose)
• Slip seating is required
• Trucks must be left at the account for time off

This position is paid an hourly rate for all hours worked plus an activity-based bonus payment. The activity-based bonus payment is the sum of your eligible activity pay less your base hourly earnings for the week. Drivers in this position over the last six to twelve months have averaged annualized earnings of $78,000.

• $18 per hour
• Holiday pay per day: $230 per day
• $5,000 sign-on bonus for a limited time

• Detention pay: $20-$24 per hour
