Position Details

Position Details:

• Drivers will operate within 250 miles of Conroe TX, including Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, and Nacogdoches, TX
• Haul reinforced cement pipe and boxes on flatbed trailers to construction areas and job sites.
• Customer is responsible for all unloads. A typical unload averages 30-45 minutes to unload once the process begins. May have to wait up to 45 minutes to begin unloading.
• Average mileage per load is 120 miles round trip.
• Loads are single stop.
• Backhauls are rare but do occur on occasion.
• Some loads will already be secured when picking them up but will be required to check the pipe securement.

Special Requirements:

• Required to secure most loads with chains, binders, straps, and/or wire cable. - Video of the required load preparation by driver - https://bcove.video/3MrdwdZ
• Drivers are required to assist with AmeriTex Precast when needed by customer.
• Flatbed experience preferred, but not required.

Truck Info:

• Automatic Day Cabs - Late Model Freightliners
• No Slip Seating!
• Trucks will be parked at the Ameritex yard for time off.
• Passengers/pets are not permitted.
