Position Details

POSITION DETAILS

• Local dedicated position hauling produce (fruits and vegetables) to school systems in MD, DC, VA, and DE.
• Operating 28" refrigerated straight trucks with lift gates.
• Avg 13-14 stops/day (most routes range from 10- 20 stops)
• Schools receiving hours are from 630 am to 230 pm but could possibly deliver later.
• Must have own personal vehicle to get to and from work daily.
• The trucks stay at the account for time off

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Drivers will use manual pallet jacks and hand carts to unload at each stop.
• All freight is palletized and plastic wrapped, must break down the pallets.
• Some stops may be mixed on a single pallet.
• Hand cart is provided by the customer (each driver will get their own with a chain and lock to lock up at the end of the day).
• Driver required to check BOL and count to confirm each stop gets the correct order.
• During the summer vacation and holidays the drivers will do restaurant deliveries for the customer or outsource to other JB Hunt dedicated accounts. The outsource work will be in a standard daycab.
