Position Details:

• Drivers will operate within 250 miles of Gunter TX
• Haul cement pipe and boxes on flatbed trailers to construction areas and job sites.
• The customer is responsible for all unloading - typical unloading averages 30-45 minutes to unload once the process begins. May have to wait up to 45 minutes to begin unloading.
• The average mileage per load is 210 miles round trip.
• Loads are primarily single-stop
• Backhauls will occur on occasion - less than once a week.
• Some loads will already be secured when picking them up but will be required to check the pipe securement.

Special Requirements:

• Required to secure loads with 10 chains (weighing 22, a binder, strap, and wire cable).

• Required to work outside in all kinds of weather (primarily TX heat that reaches 100+ degrees during the summer).

• Must be comfortable working in hot and dusty environments on a constant basis.

• Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 70 pounds.

• Ability to complete strenuous physical tasks; including using 10-25 lb. chains.

• Must be comfortable climbing on/off equipment.

• Flatbed experience is preferred, but not required.

• Positive attitude and work ethic.

• Able to work independently or as an active member of a team.

• Drivers are required to assist with AmeriTex Precast when needed by customers.

• Passengers/pets are not permitted.
