Position Details

POSITION DETAILS

• Delivering building materials on a 48'' flatbed trailer to job sites and warehouses within the state of Florida.
• No Loading: Loads will be preloaded or live loaded (avg 30 minute live loads).
• No Unloading: Loads will be live unloaded by customer - (unload averages less than 1 hour).
• Required to pick up backhauls.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

• 6 months class A flatbed preferred.
• Strapping will be required at each stop - (drivers will complete 8 - 10 stops a day depending on length of haul)
• Tarping is required when precipitation is encountered.
• Drivers are required to remove the straps and tarps.
• Drivers will tarp loads with two tarps - tarps are 20''X27'' lumber tarps. Driver must be able to lift and tarp utilizing 2 tarps, each weighing 100 lbs
• Average 2 days tarping a week, but some weeks there will be tarping every day and others no tarping.
• Tarping is not optional.
